In Short
Masonry makes product photos and short videos with AI. We collect what you give us and what we create for you, and use it to run and improve Masonry. We don't sell your personal information, and neither we nor the AI providers we use train AI models on your content.
Masonry AI, Inc. ("Masonry," "we," "us") runs masonry.so, the Masonry iOS app, the masonry command-line tool and the Masonry connector for AI apps. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, profile photo and how you sign in
- Content you give us: prompts, uploads such as photos of products and people, and brand details
- Content we generate: the images, videos and other results Masonry creates for you
- Payment information: your plan and purchase history. Our payment processors and the App Store handle payments, and we don't store card numbers
- Device and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, and how you use Masonry, collected through cookies, similar technologies and session analytics
- Data from connected AI apps: what an AI app you connect sends to Masonry, described below

How We Share Information
- Service providers that host, process and deliver Masonry, including AI model providers that generate content on our behalf

- Business transfers: if Masonry merges or is sold
Work you share by link, or that we feature in our public gallery, can be seen by anyone who views it.
We do not sell your personal information
AI Training
Masonry does not use your content to train AI models, and the AI providers we use do not use it to train their models.
Connected AI Apps
You choose to connect an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude and pick the workspace it can use. We receive only what the app sends to Masonry's tools and return the results; we don't receive your other conversations. You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Connected apps.
Data Retention
We keep your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Masonry, then delete or anonymize it. We keep some records, such as payment and legal records, longer where the law requires.
Your Privacy Rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your information, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, such as objecting to some uses or opting out of targeted advertising. Send requests to privacy@masonry.so.
Children's Privacy
Masonry is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries.

We will notify you of material changes and update the date at the top of this page.
