Our Services

Masonry makes product photos and short videos with AI. You describe what you want or upload a photo of your product, and Masonry's agent plans the work and generates images and videos with AI models from several providers. You can use Masonry on the web, in the iOS app, from the command line, or from an AI app such as Claude, ChatGPT or Codex once you connect it

User Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to use Masonry
• Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what connected AI apps do with the access you give them
• In a team workspace, its admins manage billing and members, and every member can see the workspace's content
• Don't create more than one account to collect free credits

Connected AI Apps

When you connect an AI app, you let it act as you in the workspace you choose. It can create and edit images and videos, start product shoots, add reference images, list your recent creations and check your credit balance

• The AI app decides when to call Masonry based on your conversation. Credits it uses are charged the same as any other use
• Your use of the AI app is governed by its provider's terms. We don't control that app
• Links to images and videos that Masonry returns to the app open without signing in, so anyone you share the conversation with can open them
• You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Connected apps. A connection that goes unused for 90 days ends on its own

Your Content

Inputs are what you give Masonry: prompts, uploads, product links and photos. Outputs are the images, videos and text Masonry makes for you

• You keep ownership of your inputs. As between you and Masonry, you own your outputs, and we assign to you any rights we have in them
• Other people may get similar outputs, and some countries don't grant copyright in AI-generated material. We don't promise that outputs are unique or protectable
• You give us permission to host, copy, process and display your inputs and outputs to run Masonry for you, to send them to the providers that do the generating, to show them to people you share them with, to keep Masonry safe, and for the other uses described in our Privacy Policy, such as testing the agent and featuring work in our public gallery
• This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups until they expire, content you made public, and where the law requires us to keep it

Acceptable Use

You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use outputs. You may not use Masonry to:

• Upload photos, logos, products or brand material you don't have the right to use
• Make images, video or a voice of a real person, or save them as a character, without their permission, or show a real person in a sexual, demeaning or deceptive way
• Make any content that sexualizes a minor. Photos of people who appear to be under 18 can't be used as models
• Make sexually explicit content
• Impersonate a person or brand, or make fake endorsements or reviews
• Show a product with features, sizes or results it doesn't have in a way that misleads buyers. Follow the rules of the marketplaces and ad platforms where you publish
• Make illegal content, or content that harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hatred
• Get around credit limits, safety checks or access controls, share or resell your account, scrape Masonry, overload it or reverse engineer it

We and our model providers screen requests automatically and may refuse them. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules

Plans, Credits and Payment

• Generating uses credits. Our pricing page shows plan prices and how many credits each plan includes
• Paid plans renew automatically each period until you cancel. On masonry.so, cancel in Settings → Billing. For App Store purchases, cancel in your Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period
• Plan credits are an allowance for each billing period and don't carry over. Credit packs you buy separately don't expire while your account is open. Free or promotional credits may expire, as stated when we give them
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money. You lose any remaining credits when you delete your account
• Generations that fail don't use credits
• Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. If you think we charged you in error, email support@masonry.so. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases under its own rules
• We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan

AI Output and Third-Party Models

AI output can be wrong, odd or different from what you asked for. Check it before you publish it, especially product details, text inside images and anything that makes a claim. The models come from third parties, and we may add, change or remove them at any time

Intellectual Property

Masonry's software, design, name and logo belong to Masonry AI, Inc. These terms give you no rights in them beyond using Masonry. If you send us feedback, we can use it without owing you anything

Termination

• You can stop using Masonry and delete your account at any time: in the iOS app, go to Profile → Delete account, or email privacy@masonry.so. Deleting your account cancels a masonry.so subscription on your personal workspace but not an App Store subscription
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Masonry, its users or others at risk. We will tell you why, unless the law or safety prevents it
• We may change or discontinue features. If we shut Masonry down, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your work

Disclaimers

Masonry is provided "as is." As far as the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that Masonry will be uninterrupted or error-free

Limitation of Liability

As far as the law allows, Masonry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Masonry is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you

Indemnity

If you use Masonry for a business, you will cover our costs from claims caused by your inputs, your use of outputs or your breach of these terms

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you keep the protections of your local law and can bring claims there

Changes to Terms

We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Masonry after that, you accept the change
